WPad is a simple vectorgraphic drawing application. main features:

• drawing
• saving, loading and exporting drawings to svg
• drawing on network to a remote application instance

The user interface is really simple. In the middle is the writing/drawing area, under that is the tool-bar, and the status message. The application gives three tools to the user.

• Pen is the selected tool when you start WPad. With this tool you can draw on the drawing area. You can change the pen color with the color chooser. The width of the pen also can be changed, for this use the slider next to the tool-buttons.
• Eraser is the tool to remove unwanted parts of previous strokes. You can change the size by setting the slider in the desired position.
• Pointer is the third tool. It is useful when you need to explain, or point to something on your drawings. With this tool you can point anywhere in the picture, with a cross-hair, without leaving any trace. You can change the color of the cross-hair with the color chooser.

Networking To draw to a remote host, you have to follow the following procedure:

1. On one host select the „Network/Start server” menu item. After this the status message will change to „waiting for connection”.
2. On the other host select the „Network/Connect” to server menu item. In the Message box type the first hosts address, then click on the OK button.
3. The status message should change to connected on both side. If this is not the case, then some network error has happened.
4. If the status message is connected, you can draw, erase or use the pointer, end the same will happen in the other application :).
5. You can disconnect the hosts any time by selecting the Network/Terminate connection menu item.

Note: when you use WPad on the N900 all menu items are in the same menu.
